My Robin began with a simple gift.

When I started my first job as an estate agent, my boss handed me a personal alarm to carry during property viewings. It wasn't particularly beautiful, but it gave me reassurance and peace of mind. Thankfully, I never had to use it, but I never forgot how something so small could make such a difference.

Life moved on. I travelled, lived abroad, and became a mother. Through different stages of life, I found myself thinking again about personal safety and how important it is to feel confident wherever life takes you.

After losing the dog who had faithfully walked beside me for years, I realised just how much confidence he had quietly given me when walking alone.

That's when I remembered that first alarm.

But why did personal safety products always seem to be designed as something to hide away? Why couldn't they be better made, beautifully designed, and something you would genuinely want to carry every day?

My Robin was created to change that.
